FHE's in the life of Senior Missionaries!

Time......as you get older there never seems to be enough of it.   Time....is a precious gift from our Heavenly Father, and it's what we do with the time we are given that really matters.  I remember how we were so excited to begin our mission in Washington D.C. back in 2015, and talking about how we would be home in the Fall of 2017.   It seems so far away!!!  Then we arrived to our second mission here in Independence Missouri in March of 2016, and September of 2017 still seemed so far away!   Here we are at it's almost February.   That means we are 7 months to finishing our two years of serving.   How did it go by so fast?   Where did all that time go?    Have we made good use of our time as missionaries?  We would like to think so.  We have tried to be good missionaries....we have sought out ways we can serve and bless others lives through our love and service.   Yes, we talk about serving another mission...and we probably will.  We've talked about going home and repairing our home......spending time with our children and grandchildren.  We've even talked about serving a mission right at home in Utah.  There are many full-time missionary opportunities right at home.  I have had some health issues since we've been serving.....but nothing that has kept me from serving.  We are so very grateful for the good health we have enjoyed while being missionaries.   As we get older, we realize our dependence on Heavenly Father!   He is the source of all good things.
So....we wanted to show that all Grama and Grampa Senior Missionaries still have FHE.  It doesn't matter how old you are, you are never too old for FHE!  Old people like to have fun too!   The Treasures hosted our FHE this past Monday, and boy was it fun.  We had our own version of "Olympics!"
